Russian University of Transport RUT (MIIT) is a leading transport educational institution and the biggest university complex in Russia.

For over 120 years of history, more than 650,000 highly qualified specialists with higher and secondary vocational education have graduated from the university's walls. They successfully work in transport and in other various fields in Russia and 83 countries of the world.

RUT (MIIT) began training foreign students in 1946 and during this period more than 5 thousand students from 101 countries of the world were trained, 195 cooperation agreements were concluded with foreign partner universities and organizations from 53 countries of the world.

RUT (MIIT) is the only university that trains highly qualified personnel at all levels of training in complex transport education. For foreign students, RUT (MIIT) has created a favorable environment with full support in the learning process. The Center for Russian as a Foreign Language operates on the basis of the university.
