Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov
Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov, located in Arkhangelsk, Russia, is one of Russia's ten federal universities, the North-West Russia's largest research and training center, a member of Association of Russian leading Universities.
NArFU graduates are employed at the largest Russian and international companies specializing in offshore oil and gas projects, mining, construction, energy, environmental protection, biotechnology and IT. The University also has long-standing academic traditions in training specialists in linguistics, intercultural communication, journalism, law, international relations, psychology and pedagogics. NArFU has a Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens.

NArFU's 7 Higher schools currently have more than 15 000 students coming from Russia and 50 countries in South-East Asia, Europe, North and South America, CIS countries. Scientific and educational activities are carried out on the basis of more than 20 educational buildings, 18 scientific and technological centers, 25 large laboratories.
